I believe that fashion is not just art. Art itself can be a good source of motivation for designers and we can even create catwalks as artistically as possible. However, what we should take into consideration is that we design something that will be showcased on the human body. In other words, there are separate aspects of creativity between artists and fashion designers. I don’t think that a piece of clothing is good unless wearability has been considered. Challenges and trials are valuable, so I strive to challenge myself to be innovative and try new things. However, there will never be a case where I compromise the boundaries of wearability. I will continue asking myself whether or not I have trespassed these boundaries because I am not an artist who creates an object just to be hung on the human body.
